Off The Wall
Off The Wall, the former duo of Larry Fox (Guitar & lead vocals) and Charlie Ingersoll (Dobro & harmony vocal) has been joined by John Burton (Banjo, Mandolin & harmony vocals) and Bill Woeltje (Stand-Up Bass)  to create a tight, versatile sound.
Larry can sing and play everything from a tender ballad to a driving bluegrass number and deliver a sweetsound second to none. Charlie adds a tasteful tenor harmony vocal and uses his 30 years experience on Dobro to back up the strong vocals. The driving, yet tasteful, Banjo work and harmony vocals and the fine Mandolin playing of John Burton, and the solid Stand-Up Bass work of Bill Woeltje provides a new dimension to the "Off The Wall" sound providing a tight musical performance.
Blending folk, bluegrass and traditional country into a unique, no frills sound that lends itself well to the works of John Prine, Guy Clark, Tim O'Brien and The Seldom Scene, as well as the works of more obscure songwriters. Add to that, strong vocals, tight harmonies, outstanding instrumental work and you have the makings of enjoyable music that stirs the soul and tells the story of life's journey.
Of The Wall has proven to be a favorite at festivals, benefit concerts, coffee house settings and privateparties throughout the northeast for more than a generation.

Off The Wall
The Sail Cats were formed as a duo of Mark Boudreau and Bill Fahy in 2002.   They feature the music of the mandolin and acoustic guitar and perform a wide range of music spanning over 100 years of musical selections - including traditional music, folk, cowboy, Celtic, jazz, and rock - sometimes combining the styles and songs in the same number.
Both musicians play the acoustic guitar and mandolin, on vintage instruments.  Mark "Conrad" Boudreau is an accomplished solo musician who has over 20 years of performing throughout the USA at coffeehouse, festivals, clubs, and jails. Bill Fahy was a founding member of the Tired Hands String Band, one of Central NY's finest old time groups, and also has performed solo. The Sail Cats have performed live on WAER radio, the Syracuse University Public radio station, the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, West Virginia, The Pickin Parlor in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, The Rome Art and Community Center, and numerous venues throughout Central NY over the past 5 years.
The group recently added John Brett, a founding member of the notorious "Thumpwhackers" from Ottawa, Canada.  John brings a unique musical and stage presence to the group and plays the standup bass and guitar.  Their combined talents and varied musical perspectives give the Sail Cats a truly unique sound.
The members perform with vintage Gibson Guitars and Mandolins and at many performances display and discuss the history of the fine instruments that they play.
Steeped in Tradition, but open to newer compositions, the Sail Cats blend the best of the old and new (sometimes in the same piece). Reminiscent of the Brother duos of the 20's and 30's, the Sail Cats feature driving instrumentals played on vintage instruments from the period, combined with tight vocal harmonies. An evening with the Sail Cats promises to be fun and entertaining.

The Flophouse String Band was formed in 2005 and has performed at the MVBGA Festival the past two years. The band plays all forms of acoustic music including old time, Cajun, Blues, and Bluegrass. The members are Wayne Kelly (guitar and mandolin) and Becky Kelly (dulcimer) of Starkville Mississippi who play in the band Jubilee, a popular band in the deep south; Susan Donaghue of Easton, Pa, (fiddle) from the Cajun Aces of the Metro NY area, and Bill Fahy (guitar and mandolin) of Rome NY. The band presents a unique program best described as Americana - great American Roots music.
Cincinnati Creek
Cincinnati Creek is a bluegrass band featuring musicians previously from Stump Hollow. With the retirement of Carl Stump and Suzanne Privet, the performers have regrouped to carry on their nearly two-decade tradition of playing bluegrass in the CNY region.
Cincinnati Creek hails from the Adirondack foothills. Their music reflects a mix of bluegrass, original compositions, and gospel. Band members have performed at venues including Utica Monday Night, The Fox Family Festival, The Adirondack Railroad, The Remsen Barn Festival, and numerous coffee houses and outdoor festivals.
Lori Thompson plays mandolin, guitar and sings both lead and harmony vocals. Lori writes original songs many of which are based on historical happenings in Oneida County. Lori's 2005 CD, Lori Thompson and Friends is often heard on WKTV's Mohawk Valley Living. Her second CD should be ready by fall 2008.
Chris Pepe plays the banjo. His fancy picking and good humor are a great addition to the band. Chris and Lori have been performing together for 15 years.
Gary Dygert plays the guitar and dobro. He also sings lead and harmony vocals. As the group's official "musicologist," Gary adds many traditional tunes to the group's repertoire. Gary has performed in many other local bands over the years such as Midnight Flyer and Keeping it Country.

Cathy Martin rounds out the band, playing the upright bass and singing harmony. Cathy also performs with the Remsen Community Choir and the Steuben Players. (She can play the piano too but has realized that it's much too heavy to carry to a festival.)
